Switching to a new phone - massive ballache
I used their smart switch app. Still had to do a lot of manual fidgeting. But then, I have apps for marine navigation, to control my DJI drone, my boat sonar, my boat trolling motor, my smart watch and a half dozen other eclectic apps. YMMV. -

Replacement for Skype (to call UK only)
I was left with no Skype credit after auto renew stopped last month. While MS claims you can use the Skype dial pad to make calls to landlines via Teams, you need to have sufficient credit (or a Skype subscription?) to do so but as I can't see any way to top up my account this looks like the kind of Gotcha I've come to expect from Microsoft. Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough - if anyone has found a way around this then please let me know: A DM if that's more convenient for you. By the way, forgive the avatar - I joined the MG forum and don't want to change it now 🙂 -

No matter what Trump says. money cannot buy everything. Whilst I am not an empty nest Mum, I am an empty nest Dad for the second time and there is still hole in my heart where both of my sons were. She certainly has my sympathy, and if she thinks that she needs therapy to help her get over it, then go for it. Ignore the chattering class whiners, and do what you think is best for you.
