PATTAYA: -- A Mother and Daughter team drugged and robbed a Kuwait national residing at a five star hotel in South Pattaya late on Saturday Night. Police were called to room number 318 on 3rd floor by Mr. Alshmeri Mzeel Humood aged 52 who had woken up to find the two women, who he picked-up on Pattaya Beach on Saturday Afternoon,

Just curious. Did he go for mother, daughter, or both?

I'm afraid the oil price will go up as a compensation to the poor guy.

What scares me is his room safe was opened. I try not to travel with expensive items, but sometimes put my passport, camera, netbook, etc in there for safe keeping. Maybe it isn't so safe after all????

I learned a hard lesson in samui 15 years ago about safes in rooms: moving forward I always carry with me a few ounces of overly ripe blue cheese and put it inside a locked container then inside the safe.

Sometimes however I forget to remove it upon checking out. (my apologies to those past, present and future accidentally affected).

The passport remains with me.
