Penang used to refuse anyone with a 30day extension.

I traveled in Thailand for nearly two month now on my 60day single entry, should I avoid to extend?

Extensions is a no more visa trap?

Can I only get one more tourist visa to thailand and never get a third tourist visa on that passport?

Not sure where you got that information but have not seen any such report. After three visas they might question at some locations but there is no set policy and the object is to remove those they feel may be working illegibly. Visas or extensions spread around in a normal tourist manner each year should not be a problem for most people. Continued back to back use of tourist visas will may be a problem.

Only Penang seems to have an issue with people having an extension on their (last) tourist visa entry, other consulates not.
