Apologies first as i cannot find any recent updates on a Double Entry visa from Laos.

Does anyone know if its still free and whenther and when the consuolate is closed for Chinese New Year.

Still free till March. But people with more than a few back to back tourist visas in their passport run the risk of being refused.

Posting here to avoid a new topic,....if applying for a tourist visa at the consulate in Vientiane on a Friday morning are you able to collect your passport as per normal on the Saturday after 1pm?

Thanks for that, so just to clarify.........even though they are open Saturday, they will not return applications made on the day before Friday and I guess they will not accept applications on a Saturday morning as well?

Why would you expect them to be open Saturday?

The Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane is open from Monday to Friday. Visa application form could be submitted from 8.30-12.00 hours only.
