Naut.Sirius
Hi all, When in TH I just use my Visa ATM card to pull money out of my U.S. bank account, but I'm getting a bit tired of paying 150 BHT every time I do it. Is there a better way of going about this instead of using a ATM? Thanks in advance for any suggestions! kropotkin
Travelers checks, or use Citibank ATM's. I asked my european bank - 2% commission on buying travelers cheques. Normal?
Latindancer
Or Aeon ATMs (usually found in shopping malls). Really ? There is one bank which definitely does not charge the 150 baht ? I'm a bit tired of it.......on top of that, my own bank in Australia charges me almost the same to use a foreign ATM, and hits me with a Foreign Currency Exchange Charge at the end of the month. So each ATM transaction in Bangkok actually costs me about 300 baht !
