Can anyone tell me is any of the girlie bars open early afternoon i.e. about 2pm? Got afriend in Bangkok for the day and wants me to show him around the bars! If not Soi Cowboy where would be best?

During the daytime I'd say lower Sukhumwit - especially some of the beer bars on Soi 4 is a better bet than Cowboy.

Places like Big Dog's, Morning Night, Golden Beer Bar are all good spots for a bit of perving and people watching.

Beer Garden Soi 7 is where its at early afternoon.
