I am planning some time in Nong Khai and then heading south by train to Bangkok-

any advice on where to hear and experience real mor lam music- I would prefer the real thing in villages,

not a food court, but hoping to hear from anyone who can recommend. Thank you!

Put Sieng Isaan Band into you tube and watch some of their clips.

There are links to their website under most clips, you can then see if they have any concerts close to you in the near future. You can use google translate in google chrome if you cannot read Thai.
