30 Days Stamp On Arrival

Featured Replies

Hi,

For Malaysians & Singaporeans, they do not need a visa to enter Thailand.

They will be given a "30 days" stamp on arrival.

The question I would like to ask is this:

1. How many times are they allowed to go in and out with this "30 days" stamp.

2. Can they go in and out indefinitely ?

3. Is there are a limit with this process. Like three times, five times or no limit.

However, I am aware that the Malaysian Bus drivers go in and out of Hatyai (South Thailand)

every day.

I can only assume as bus drivers they may hold a "Special" Permit or Pass to go in and

out everyday. No limit. I am only assuming.

Can any one enlightened me on this.

Your kind response will be much appreciated.

Thanking you all in advance.

Land crossing is 15 days except for Malay on the Malay border. Air is 30 days. There is no fixed limit but traveler could be asked if they are working at some point. Believe drivers are using border pass rather than visa or visa exempt entry.

Thank you, lopburi3 for your prompt reply.

Much appreciated.

Oh yes! I also assume that the bus drivers use the "Border Pass"

which is valid for six months.

This border "Border Pass" is only valid for travel up to Hatyai and

Songkhla only. Beyond that they must have a passport.

This "Border Pass" costs only RM10.00 whereas the International Passport

costs RM300.00 - valid for five years.
