I know at one stage you werent allowed to be in Thailand for more than 90 days in every 180 days on a visa on arrival (exemption). this meant you could only effectively have 3x 30 day visa on arrivals in a 180 day period and once it was used up you have to stay out of the country for 90 days before the time limit is reset ? I think they brought it in about 2 years ago? The reason i ask is i see alot of people commenting that you can get unlimited 30 day tourist visa on arrivals, yet i thought the Thai brought in new requirements several years ago. darrenr Posted February 13, 2011 Author Share Posted February 13, 2011 Thanks Lite Beer, i thought the rule would be a pain and prevent alot of people comming to Thailand ( i think they were trying to stamp out people living in Thailand long term by just renewing their 30 day tourist visa on arrival ).
