I moved to ThonBuri a few months back and am having terrible problems with dropped calls and failed calls from my new home. It is a new condo complex, any ideas or suggestions about what is going on?? My phone provider is AIS.

If you live in a condominium then you should talk to building committee or juristic person office - I know there are a lot of problems with reception in Q House Sathorn and HIVE ... no signal from 20 floor up

Could it be the building blocking the signal? Know that some buildings do, but have now idea why or how they fix it...

I have a friend who lives on Suk. soi 12, in the heart of Bangkok, on a top floor and he has the same problem. He has changed carriers to no avail.

I wonder if cellular signals are subject to "multipath" distortion, much like TV and FM signals, wherein the signal reflects of buildings and cancels itself out.
