Visa Exemption Rule

Featured Replies

Hi

I 'm french, visiting Thailand with my Thai boyfriend, I'm supposed to leave Thailande before february 27 with a visa exemption rule, and I have to rebooked my ticket and no flight are available before March 10, means I will be on an illegal situation wich I REALLY don't want.

There are any solutions to avoid this? extend my stay at the immigration if possible? Go to Laos and enter again?

Thanks so much for your advice

Fabienne

If you extend, most likely you would only get 7 days, if you cross into Laos and return by land you will get an entry of 15 days, 30 days if entering by air.

Laos or the closest border for a new visa exempt entry of 15 days would be your best bet.
