A while ago a lot of threads came up that the immigration is testing ED Visa holders (language schools) about their language skills.

Is the immigration still doing that? Does it effect your extension?

It seems not, although they can ask you questions in Thai or try to make small talk wth you. But that depends on the officer and office. There is no set policy to do so.
