Today I finally had time to make a bit longer trip, so I woke up at 5:30 ... eh 6:00 and left 6:30 (bit too late).

Living along the Eastern Seaboard I took off in direction of Khao Chamou ... well I wrote it at

http://changnoi1.blogspot.com/2011/02/riding-upcountry-in-thailand.html

It was a nice almost 300km trip, I enjoyed the Versys and could finally test a bit of the higher rpm's ... the engine feels like it finally can do what it wants to do.

I also tested my phone as GPS but realized that the battery life is not long with GPS & screen working, after a bit of 1 hour the battery was 50% so no kml file. I will have to install a waterproof car-socket (maybe a marine-socket?).

Well hopefully next week a trip Khao Yai or something like that.

Heck yea, I could use one of those too! Did you find a place selling that kind of kit in LOS, Newguy?

Britbike on RCA sells similar stuff at prices that are less outrageous than the bikes ;)
