Depends on the situation. Keep in mind that the world is filled with mentally ill people that stalk others. The authorities are not going to release information or respond unless a clear and present danger has been demonstrated.

Bodies found are usually brought to the hospital and put in cold storage until identified and claimed. Have you shown the photo at the hospital. If this is simply a case of looking for a lady that has disappeared and she is employed in the entertainment sector, the Thai police are not going to respond since they get many inquiries from people like that. If the missing person has a Thai family member that is concerned, then the family member will get better results. If the missing person is a minor, the police are obliged to report to the ministry responsible for social services. If this is a close friend, then contact that person's work colleagues or family. That's the starting point.
