Where To Find Big Old Apartment In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hey,

I'm looking for a big apartment (100 m2 plus) in an old building, maybe off Sukhumvit or in Ari, with a big balcony and windows so there's a nice breeze. I'll sacrifice modernity for character. Wooden floors would be nice.

Up to 35,000 baht. Do these places still exist or is it just expensive, small condos these days? Any recommendations or landlords with such apartments out there?

Cheers

Dan try Jammy's Twin Mansion, Soi 31 Suk, 180 sqm about 35,000 - 3 Big Balcony's, good size swimming pool etc.

I have no financial interest in this property - I just live there.

This was three years ago, but I used to rent a very large 3-bedroom apartment (some 200 square metres) on Sukhumvit Soi 12 for 35,000 baht. Indian-owned, as many such places are. It is called Rama Mansion, on the left just up from Cabbages & Condoms. I'm sure there are plenty like it.

Good luck.

How about a 129m2 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 balconies for 11.000 baht a month? Sorry that one is taken :), but i believe there are more, not in this building though.

The area is very close to phra kanong skytrain station.
