I am a teacher and I am unable to have my work permit renewed because i have not done my Culture Course as required by the local work permit office. I therefore will have to go out the country next week and re-apply for the Non-Imm B visa, which will hopefully give me time to do the course. A couple of questions. Do i need to pay tax before i leave the country? I'm not aware of any system in place with the tax office and immigration, so i would have thought i could pay it at a later date. Also i take it Penang is okay for this as i will have all the relevant paperwork?

Finally does anyone have a link to the required documents for the non-imm b for a government school? It's been so long and i don't have the documents to hand anymore.

No. Got one last week in Penang without WP3. Only a letter of invitation was required, along with the relevant company documents.

Immigration website says you need one but not asked for.
