Sex video involving Indonesian law maker leaked

JAKARTA, INDONESIA (BNO NEWS) --An Indonesian law maker appears in a leaked sex video, which is now circulating the internet after recently selling his laptop, local media reported Thursday.

Irwan Fajarudin, a National Mandate Party lawmaker from East Java's Purwojero Legislative Council on Thursday met with the council chairman to discuss the sex video scandal in which he is featured with his wife.

Fajarudin told detik.com that he was instructed to find the individual who leaked the video, adding that it could to be someone from the council. The lawmaker said he had sold the laptop at a local mall, but he 'recklessly and foolishly' forgot to clean out his laptop before the sale.

Late January, Indonesian pop star Nasriel Irham was sentenced to 3 and a half years in prison after two homemade sex tapes involving himself and two other celebrities began circulating on various websites.

As Fajarudin, Irham argued he was a victim of the leaked sex video, but he was still charged under Indonesia's harsh 2008 Anti-Pornography Law.
