New password for TM 47 on line

Featured Replies

I am trying to do my 90 days TM47 on line, which I have done many times before. They have informed me that my password has expired and to check my email.

I have done this and no email has been sent I have also try the forgot password method and although they say the email has been sent I am not seeing it.

Anyone else having this problem and have managed to changed their password successfully? I have tried with another email address and I got the message. but I am not registered with that email. The email address I am having a problem with is @hotmail.com

I just this moment tried my account and got the same expired password message. However I did get an email and have been able to reset the password. Now logged in without an issue. Some glitch with your email address it seems - checked spam?

The email includes this, might be worth doing?......

Yes I have checked checked spam. But I get a notification that my 90 days is due at this Hotmail address. I shall wait it out a while, maybe some delay.

I’ve always run into problems. It’s probably just me... probably I’m not very tech savvy, but after the fifth attempt, I gave up and now I do everything in person.

I have just applied using a different Yahoo email account. It appears as if I am using this method for the 1st time and at present is pending, lets see how it goes.

I also have an email to the Yahoo address saying they have received it

I also reset the password 2 or 3 times. No problem with Gmail.

I think your previous password must get cancelled automatically after the 90 day is issued or after a set time.

I have to create a new password each time, and I know was using the correct one.

I got the same a few weeks ago. Received the email, clicked the link, used the same old password for the required new password, which was accepted LOL

I attempted to log in the other day and was informed either the email or password was incorrect.

I was 100% certain both were correct, so selected the 'forgot password' option.
I duly received an email with a link to reset my password, at which point it became evident why I hadn't been able to log in.

They've added the requirement for at least 1 special character such as @$& etc in the password.

Reset password with the additional character and all working again.

Same happened to me last week when I did my 90 day report and was forced to change my password before being allowed to proceed. I was surprised that it accepted my "old" password as my "new" password.

Some people must start learning reading and understanding what they read.

The message you receive at the login is: 'for safety reasons we advise to change your password.....'

As far I know is an ADVISE not a MUST.

FWIW

I just tried my account. It worked, but I did get a message that they SUGGEST changing the password every three months.

If you don't bother they will send you an email telling you to update to a new password via the email they sent already

That message is advice, but when you get the message that your password has "expired", you MUST change it to proceed.

No need for your initial snarky comment about reading and understanding.

Hotmail automatically often block a IP-adresses as spam. Today servers share same IP for several URLs; so, the sending URL — i.e., Thai Immigration's reply system — could be blocked by Hotmail, but you will not be informed. And as the system is automated robots, no human likely cares and get a system operator on the server side to try to clear the blocked IP at Hotmail, which even can be quite challenging (talking from multiple experiences).

As others mentioned, use a separate e-mail account for Immigration — tand not a Hotmail address — and try if you can open a new account for online TM47 notification..

Yes, definitely a problem with Hotmail. Anyway good news I have just had my 90 days approved using my Yahoo mail accout

I had stopped using hotmail years ago. Could be something there. You might want to get a better email.

Used hotmail/outlook for 22 years, been doing the online reports since they came online. Nary a problem one.
