WASHINGTON, D.C. (BNO NEWS) -- A former official with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was sentenced over 5 years in prison on Thursday on charges of abusive sexual contact and unlawful use of cocaine while possessing a firearm, the U.S. Justice Department said.

Andrew Warren, 43, admitted that on February 17, 2008, he sexually abused a female victim after rendering her unconscious while on U.S. embassy property in Algiers, Algeria.

In addition, Warren admitted that on April 26, 2010, he unlawfully used cocaine while possessing a Glock, 9 millimeter semi-automatic pistol in Norfolk, Virginia.

Warren pleaded guilty to the charges in June 2010 and was sentenced to 65 months in prison (5.4 years) in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. In addition to his prison term, he will be serving 10 years of supervised release.

It does make one wonder. Or is it illegal uses of cocaine and legal uses of cocaine?

Though, I'm guessing the dude went to work while high on cocaine and there wasn't evidence of him possessing it other than what was in his blood.
