Last Year:

I only take one bus company and if they dont go there neither do I. NCA!

This site - by the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority - already gives all routes and places - in English, in and around Bangkok.

BUS QUESTION:

Is there still a 18-seater-VIP plying the Hat Yai - KL route as was the case 3 or 4 years ago, or are they all 24-seaters only nowadays, after that specific Bus-company has been swallowed by 5-stars-coaches from Singapore. In 2010 I took the 24 seater and did not like it much, but was in a hurry and had to book the next available seat so i could not do further research in Hat yai.

Also, avoid them little reddish / orange buses where the driver is still in High school and so is the ticket boy. Even the old Thai ladies start sweating when they get on. Then when they get off they look like they are about to cry. One the route between Sukhumvit and Ram University, them boys like to compete with other red / Orange buses and motorcycles.
