By Sodchuen Limkriangkra

BANGKOK, March 06 2011 (NNT) - Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva brushes off rumors that Mr. Newin Chidchob called to postpone the censure debate, adding that the government is ready to clarify the issue of Central World arson.

He also believes that the missing weaponry from Dhanarat camp is related to weapon trading in the border.

Prime Minister Abhisit confirmed in an interview that Bhum Jai Thai de-facto leader Newin Chidchob did not call to postpone the censure debate, adding that the evidence that Pheu Thai Party's claims to have on the Government related to the arson at Central World Plaza could be clarified. The censure debate will take place during 15 - 17 March 2011.

As for the missing weapons from Dharat camp in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, the Prime Minister believes that it is related to weapon trading at the border, adding that the Army Chief has been notified and promises to track down the wrong doers.

I didn't realise that, per the headline, Newin was now Thai P.M. ? But then things do change quickly in politics, and I have been offline all day !

I guess that this must have been news to the General. I hope that it didn't cause too much of a shock to him. As for the promise - totally worthless.

Maybe it should be "Thai PM : Newin Chidchob ... " seeing as it says "Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva brushes off rumors that Mr. Newin Chidchob ..." later.
