Making Bacon.

Featured Replies

Hi Forum,

I would like to make my own Bacon, anyone have any tips on this, and where i can find Dry Cure packs, and other Seasoning Cures to make Bacon at home.

Thanks For your help.

A good quality bacon / meat slicer and the ability to tell your local Thai butcher just what part of the animal you want.

Depending on where you are though there are plenty of places selling good, English style back and middle bacon. :D

Thank you for reminding me as my stock has run out.

I don't know if they are still going as it was a year or so ago that I bought my last lot.

What kind of bacon?

You mentioned loin.... Canadian bacon? English?
