What's the deal with these? How much do they cost? How many people can you bring? Do you have to supply your own alcohol? How long do you get the boat for? I'm guessing the rental includes a driver? Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

If I remember properly ist like 6,000 - 10,000 to rent one for a weekend.

You supply the booze and food, I think you can hire a cook.

You can get alot of people on them. Its a cheap way to entertain, and it looks like a heap of fun....

Mattnich - where can you book it ?

Myself and a few others hired one for 5,000 which included the driver and the food. This was at least 13 yrs ago, so I guess it was expensive.

We supplied the alcohol, all the mixers and ice were down to them. We had a Thai do the deal on our behalf, something I would advise. Oh and they also had a mini disco type thing and that was on whenever we wanted.

It is a great, inexpensive way to spend a weekend!

I did this last November with a gang. Forget how much, above cost about right. Loads of fun and a great way to spend the day. Can sleep on some or get a little cabin in the area. Recommended.

I think you need to book it at Kanchanaburi.

I got the information because I took a "Joy Ride" on the river and stopped and asked someone. Sadly I have lost the phone number.

Maybe that makes an excellent excuse to go back for the weekend.

You should check out the rafts on Srinakarin Lake.

They are two storey. Downstairs is the party area, upstairs is the bedrooms.

Make the Kanchanaburi ones look tame.
