I need your help in making this configuration for me, Thanks in advance,

I have a cable interconnection with "motorola surfboard sb5100e", it has only 1 USB and 1 RJ45 (Ethernet port) for output, and no Wifi.

I have a another spare device, ADSL WIFI modem router, from NetGear (Model: DG834GT),

Can someone help me with using this device as only router/Switch to connect to internet wireless via WIFI,

I checked the other post making "Cable modem wireless...", But i could not understood it as,

My Cable Modem as no LAN IP ranges setting in Configration page, it has only DHCP enabled checkbox.

Another thing i get the IP as 83.82.68.XXX,

Is it possible to Use these 2 devices from my WIfi need?

I had manually assigned my PC a IP, so it was a problem, using automatically settings it worked.
