Waiting Time For Irish Holiday Visa?

Anyone got an Irish holiday visa recently.

Just wondering how long it took?

The inis website says up to 8 weeks, we're into our 8th week now and have had no contact at all.

Just wondering whats the normal waiting time is, should i expect to hear from them to verify my letter of invitation etc?

her boss hasn't been even contacted yet to verify work etc.
