Mobile Credit Card Terminal

Featured Replies

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a car rental business and the need for a mobile credit card terminal has become more apparent. I already have a fixed terminal in my shop but when I mention a gprs or mobile terminal to my bank they look very confused. I bank with TMB.

I have seen these used before in Thailand so I know they are out there, my questions are;

Does anyone know of a bank which will provide a mobile credit card terminal to my company?

If I buy a mobile credit card terminal myself from the UK can my bank configure it to my merchant account?

Any other info on these devices would be very helpful to me. Thank you in advance

I know banks have a charge for these, monthly at least and maybe for the machine too, not sure. Ask either Kasikorn or Bangkok Bank they will know.

Bangkok Bank does have these devices available. As is usual with the allocation of the terminals, details on type of business, expectant sales volumes etc will be asked for. Contact at one of our larger branches should direct you to the correct division or alternatively you can PM myself and i will establish contact for you.
