My wife has recently arrived in the UK on a 6 month family visit visa with her 2 children,we were not in a financial position to apply for a settlement visa at the time as I am awaiting the outcome of a large High Court settlement.Assuming my financial circumstances change soon can we apply for a settlement visa whilst she is here on a family visit visa or must she return to Thailand to apply.She has already passed the new English test and presumably they can get a TB test done in the UK.Any help would be much appreciated.

i am sure someone will correct me if i am wrong, but i think your GF will have to return to Thailand and apply there. Good Luck

May I ask did your GF do the test in the UK or Thailand before she came here???

I'm trying to find places in Bangkok for my GF to do the A1 test see.
