Is The Border Open In Mae Sai

Featured Replies

I saw on the news that the Burmese government closed the border at Mae Sai/Tachilek after last weeks earthquake to keep out reporters, aid workers, and other dangerous types. Does anyone know if it is open now? I can't find an answer in the Chiang Rai forum.

<deleted>??? You, yes, you your very self, thanked a guy yesterday for answering the same question in the Chiang Rai forum!!!

BTW, I am only on this because I am going up tomorrow and wanted to make sure I am not wasting my time but seems everything is normal. PM me sometime after 8pm if you want double, triple confirmation that it's open. ;-)

Cheers,

Pikey.
