Police Check In Thailand

Has anyone got any information regarding getting a police check done in bangkok ??.

I require this for a brazilian work permit.

Where to go,cost,time??

Prepare to be shafted, last time I went they told me there is no charge ,come back in three weeks,I told them politely I needed it now and was then told 4,ooo Baht under the table, upon declining they said come back in three weeks.

Go to the Police Clearance service centre building 24 royal thai police headquarters, rama1 pathumwan, bangkok.

Easy way is take the BTS and get off at Siam square. Police are opposite side of the road to Siam shopping centre.

8.30 to 4.30.

Thai national will need, passport with 1 photocopy, id card with 1 photocopy, house registration with 1 copy, name change certificate if aplicable.

Foreign applicant, passport with 1 photocopy, document(s) cerity that the applicant is working, used to work or residing in thailand, work permit if applicable.

Applicant with no bad record takes 7 days.
