Monkeypants
I have a small dilema, My passport is about full, I have used my tourist visa, and currently have entry until 31/05/2011. I fly back to the UK on this date for two weeks so no problems there. I was thinking that if I apply to hong kong for a new british passport now, my current entry stamp would be in my old passport. Would this cause a problem at swampy upon exit from Thailand ?
terak69
Absolutely no problem - did it myself, just carry both passports. You do not even have to send old passport to Hong Kong., just photocopy. Mine took 16 days

lopburi3
Your entry should be transferred into your new passport as soon as it arrives. It is a free process at Immigration.

Why waste time going to immigration for new stamp when you can travel out with both passports ??
