April 4, 201115 yr Can anyone point me in the direction of where costs of "extensions of stay" are listed? I was at Phuket Immigration today when two 30-something female tourists asked the officer for extensions. After the officer processed some paperwork, he asked the ladies for 300 baht, which I thought was very cheap. He then asked them to sit over to the side to wait for the paperwork to be completed. As they walked away, the 300 baht went into his left trouser pocket. So I presume this was not the actual cost of the extensions of stay and that they would be asked for more when the extensions were completed.
April 4, 201115 yr All extensions of stay use the TM.7 form and the price of 1,900 baht is printed on it. But copies and photos are also required.
April 5, 201115 yr seems some people see and interprit things they way they want to. Think corruption and you will see it. Like Lopburi said, form, photo, fee = extention

Like Lopburi said, form, photo, fee = extention So how would you interpret this 300 baht fee (that went into his pocket)? Seems some people need to take off their rose-tinted glasses or at least live here for a few years.
April 5, 201115 yr It could have been for something else - such as making copies/photos? Normally the fee is charged upon application as it is payable regardless of approval or not.
