Hi,

I want to fitness first in bangkapi few days ago. First they told

me 7,000Baht/month :D:D:o

Then i told them it's farang fxxxing price, then they droped the

price down to 10,380Baht for two months, still i found it very pricy!

Later they said they could offer me extra 30 days for free,

means three months for 10,380Baht, but i usually stay 60

days in thailand and return after a month only, so extra

30 days free would be worthless to me.

Now, MY QUESTION IS, DID THEY TRY TO OVER CHARGE ME?

-I will appreciate if someone can share here info about what is

charged for monthly subscribtions and what is longer term subscrpition?

-what are closest branded and non-branded gyms in Bangkapi

and Ramkhamheng area?

I pay around 2000 baht a month a Fitness First.....

dont worry what they say.....u can talk the price down...

I join Cal Wow on Silom for 1000 baht down and 1200 bt / month. 12 months guarantee required. But that's "off peak" hours. Meaning I can't go into the gym between 4pm and 8pm Mon to Fri and from 1pm to 5 pm on Saturday. To tell the truth, the place is so packed during those hours, I don't want to be there anyway.

I am willing to pay 12,000baht in advance for a year membership.

But California fitness seems to have 4 branchs, while you have

access to Fitness first at nearly 11 locations.

And how much you have to pay if no peak hour restrictions?

I send them a mail , asking for less price lets see

what they will reply

which branch do you use, and which branch have

larger and better equiped?

I prefer the mall bangkapi, since it has outdoor water

world next to it (on the roof of shopping complex) and

the gym is much larger than the like of landmark branch

BKK Dude, I paid a lot less than you got quoted and, in hindsight, I think i was way overcharged. So yes I think they are taking you for a ride. They want your buisiness so keep talking them down on their "farang" price. We do not live in an equal society, thailand or elswhere.......

I pay about 1800 baht a month and was around 2 to join Fitness first, I would say the new Bangkapi one is best of ones ive been to so far.
