Just wondering what the latest on Penang visas is. Got a multi entry last year no problems, is this still easy. And what if it's not? If I get a 3 month visa (Aust passport) how long canI renew it for once it expires....3 months? Not too sure.

It is rather hard to answer you not knowing what basis you used last year; and plan to use this year. From previous posts I get the idea you are a teacher but probably not with a work permit or meeting qualifications for extension of stay (but that is just a guess from your previous posts). In that case you are probably looking for a multi entry B visa and are not likely to receive without extensive documentation this time (hammer fell a month or so ago and it still seems to be much tighter). If you receive a single entry it can not be extended unless you meet the work permit/income requirements and that would be for one year at a time.

You can still get a triple or double entry there. No problems
