If i come over with double entry tourist visa, how many can i get back to back?

A double entry tourist visa will mean you enter Thailand and get 60 days, then towards the end of those 60 days you can go to immigration, pay 1900 Bt (I think) and get another 30 days.

When those 30 days are up you must leave Thailand.

When you re-enter Thailand you will again receive 60 days, once again down to immigration at the end of those 60 days to get another 30 days, then you leave again.

The double entry visa is then finished.

I believe it's possible to also obtain a triple entry tourist visa (from the UK it is anyway).

The answer could be none or many depending on when/where/current policy. We can not foresee the future so the best we can do is guess and you should not really plan your life on such information. I know not very helpful but we really don't know as it is often a local decision.
