ImageDude
This little fella was in our bathroom a couple of days ago. My wife and the maid said it was a sign of good luck and both have put a picture on their Buddha shrines.
toybits
This has been an on-going scam at Mae Sai. Gecko tails can get detached and this is a survival strategy for the little buggers. Then it regrows back. I believe some people have found that if you snip the tail at the right spot, it can regrow into two tails.

Well Imagedude ; I think its lucky or atleast the gecko's lucky to have 2 tails. All my gecko's have no tail as they always want to hide in the crack when I shut the window. I also believe some people (especially Thai women) have found that if you snip the tail at the right spot it doesn't grow back
