Letter From Embassy For Marriage

Featured Replies

hi

im aware of what you have to do to get this letter just want to know does the letter expire do you have a certain time to get married once you have this letter

many thanks

There is a bit about it in this link under 'What are Affidavits/Statutory Declarations??' that suggest 3 months.

However, please note that this website/information appears to be a general guide on marriages overseas and is not solely directed at those wishing to marry in Thailand.

There are others experiences listed in This forum with one guy stating 5 months had passed before he finally tied the knot!! (bear in mind the age of these posts).

But in This forum (dated this year) only 30 days is quoted.

More here too...but still no real solid answers.

Sorry...this hasn't really helped much!!! A bit a of a grey area I feel.
