i have a return ticket to NYC on october 7th (china airlines via taipei). if i don't use it, i lose it, as it expires and i already added a year onto it before- they don't let me do it again. my friend says i can sell it as long as i accompany the purchaser to the airport and get the name changed. has anyone done this successfully? anyone want to buy my ticket? i paid $550 but i will sell for $400 (16000b).

No way of knowing for sure whether this is doable without checking with the airline. The policy for this type of change may even vary between fare classes. Suggest you ring up China Airlines and inquire...
