Been using the Samsung R4788 i3(RED) exacatly about 1 year 4 month, The warranty has ended. For the pass few weeks my notebook is acting crazing.

1) It gets really hot below after 20 mins

2)Turn off by it self if it gets too hot.

3)DVD Drive cant read no more

4)Battery when charge fully lasted only about 1 hour.

I was thinking of either Selling it or get it repaired. My question is should i sell it perhaps get 10K baht from the shop or should i get it fix but how much would it cost ?

Clean the inside, make sure it's free of dust. Most modern computers will power off after reaching a certain temperature threshold to prevent irreversible damage to hardware.

Buy a new DVD drive and get a replacement battery.

Repair it, getting too hot could be, the fan is not working well, it is caused by dust inside the laptop/fan.

Automatic turn off, its a kind of self protection, if the cpu/ga getting too hot in most cases +85-90c, your

computer automatically shut down. Battery, today battery are designed to have a ex.

maximum of 500 load circles, you boot into Bios and check if there is an option for your battery. A new battery

is around 1k bath, clean the fan 100-200 bath. You should 1st. start solve the heat problem.
