Haven't seen it in Thailand,

however, you can download free software which does pretty much the same, you just have to find a wifi card with a compatible chipset (but plenty around).

Assume you want to "test" some wifi security?

It used to be that all the free stuff worked only on Linux, but lots of stuff available for windows nowadays.

Correct, my own security at home.

I use now Kismet, Ettercap and Wireshark - all under Mint 10 - but I have problems getting my wireless card(s) in 'monitor mode' / promiscuous mode.
