The successful candidate will look after the translation/localization of website content, and conduct marketing activities in each languages for Vietnamese, HK and Malaysian Bahasa to increase the visibility of agoda within their target market.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Translate/edit English content (including hotel descriptions, site updates, press releases, travel articles, promotional emails and newsletters).
  • Publish the translations on the website.
  • Review/QA site for errors, inconsistencies and localization issues.
  • Assist with inter department requests.
  • Research and identify partnership opportunities.
  • Distribution of Agoda articles and Press Releases.
  • Report on referrals, mentions and links for agoda sites.
  • Monitor site performance on search engines.
  • Submit and tag Agoda releases in social bookmarking sites.
  • Monitor local language forums/blogs for Agoda mentions.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Native speaker of target language.
  • Good English skills.
  • Good internet knowledge and comfortable with online research.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment.
