2long Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 A student who is going to study a masters in September and needs to do an 8-week language course beforehand, also wants to arrive in the UK for a two-week vacation before the start of the language course. Do any of you guys know the start date of the student visa? WE have searched and found there is a four-month period AFTER the course, but can't see anything before it. bangkockney Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 They should put the start date on the visa as 1 month before the course start date on the CAS. They'll do this automatically, no need to request it. When the student completes their VAF9 put the intended date of travel to UK to include the 2 week holiday prior to the start of the pre-sessional course.
