thequietman Posted May 8, 2011 Share Posted May 8, 2011 the northern ireland assembly elections have concluded. results are DUP 38 +2, Sinn Fein 29 +1, uup 16 -2, SDLP 14 -2, Aliance 8 +1, others 1 -1.dup and sinn fein continue to be the largest parties.unheard of when i was younger that these 2 parties could talk, never mind work together. however they are and its great to see politicians pulling together for the better good of the people of the north.Sinn Fein may even get the first minister position. unbelieveable.
