May 9, 201115 yr I do have a huge problem with a clear reception on my tv when i plug in to home cable other cable required? I am lost in electronics so any suggestion which resolved this snow problem is welcome. lcd...analoog same same........terrible reception anyone? hgma
May 9, 201115 yr I think you'll need either a filter and / or a signal amplifier..also isolating the cable from other signal sources might help.
May 9, 201115 yr When the tech hooked up my cable to my TV he told me that the cheap white coax cable I bought from Lotus was no good and gave me a thick black coax that made a huge difference in reception.
May 9, 201115 yr Poor quality coax cables will give you a poor standing wave ratio, which will clutter the signal.
May 10, 201115 yr The coax should be marked RG-6 , can be white or black. It has a layer of foil over the dielectric for better shielding.
