Extension Of Stay Troubles

Featured Replies

hi guys,

i really need your wise advice about my situation which is a bit twisted 2 months ago i was terminated by my previous employer without any document or even resignation letter ,and in discussing the visa matter he promised me not to cancel my visa till i get a new job, i got one since 1 month ago the problem is when my current employer tried to contact and reason with the first employer he said that he would cancel my visa starting from the date that i've left which means that i am risking to pay the overstay fine for 2 months , i 'm completly lost here what should i do to avoid this nightmare, do i have just to leave the country and come back with a fresh non b visa ? and also how do i know if they already canceled my extension of stay and WP ? please advice .

cheers

If on a 90 day visa entry nothing happens. If you were on an extension of stay for work it ended on the day your employment ended and you were required to report to immigration to cancel the extension of stay and leave the country (or obtain a 7 day extension of stay). This may not be found if you leave and apply for a new visa entry but that is the requirement.
