Hotel In Pattaya Reco Wanted...Family, Kids, Pool

Featured Replies

Anyone can recommend a nice hotel centrally located with a good pool for kids.....like a good waterslide and stuff.

Can be 1 bedroom or 2 if not too much, fold out bed and sofa for example.......

Hard Rock

OP may want to reconsider "centrally located" - why has the hotel to be centrally located?

By central I mean north or south, but not out on the highway or way down south of jomtien etc......I dont mean central as walking st......although we did stay once at the hotel right at the southern end of walking st once....forget name and has a great pool and little slide.

You can exit it onto the marina area and never see the walking st circus......nice hotel, nice rooms.....I like to try new places though in the never ending search of perfection for the right price.

Hard Rock

Hard rock is a bit exy....we stayed there a couple years ago with 2 rooms and was fun.

This trip is rather quick and won't have time to reap the full benefit of the expense and all the activities there for kids.

Will keep HR for another time when we want to go and spend at least 2 nights there.

Centara Grand Mirage

Compulsory breakfast for kids 375b ??

I have been seeing this a bit lately......puts me off straight away.....same same the compulsory xmas or new years eve dinners.......

For value conscious, the Green Park Resort in Naklua is very nice. It is an older property and the rooms are not luxurious, but they have one of the largest free-form pools in Pattaya. No kids slides, however.

Also, at the higher end, the pools at the Royal Garden Resort are extensive and they may have some slides.

Cabbages and condoms, Pratumnak Soi 4.

New hotel on north end of Jomtien. Not on the baht bus route, but quiet area, nice pool and directly on the beach. Might not be as central as you want, its a 20-25 minute walk for restaurants or 150-250 baht for a taxi depending on where you want to go.

This hotel fits the bill.

Book through Agoda (Hotels link in top menu) for some great discounts.

Discovery Beach is right next to the notorious Soi 6.

I think the OP should take a look at Green Park Resort as aforementioned. AGODA is ok for booking.

Thanks Hyky.......Nothing wrong with Pattaya if you have the mental ability to stay away from certain areas....of which i have no problem doing such.
