Brand New Samsung Lcd Tv

Hi

I just wondered if anyone has any technical knowledge of LCD TV’s ?

I have new Samsung LCD Tv ( only 3 months old ) but in only the past 2-3 weeks I have noticed when I am

watching Al Jazerra or Fox News the sound goes off intermittently

for a maybe 20 – 25 seconds ( just as they seem to be saying something important !) and then it comes on again for about 5 minutes and then it goes off again. Naturally I first suspected the problem was at the source at the cable TV channel but surely by now someone else would have noticed it and it would have been rectified ?

But now I am not even sure of this and I am wondering if the problem is with my tv set ?

If so I would have thought any problem with my audio on the Tv set would mean I would not get any sound ?

Would anyone else here happen to have experienced anything similar to this ?

I have a similar problem with Channel 3 (Thai TV) the sound goes up and down, but it is only this channel, so must be the source.

If it just these two channels that are affected it is most likely your satellite / cable provider.
