Is Wat Changhai Still Open?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I heard from my friends that due to civil wars or unrest, Wat Changhai is now not open? I will be heading Hatyai next week , just wondering if the temple is open for visit? Thanks all for input! ^^

I've check with TAT call center, they inform us that Wat Changhai is still open for visit as usual. If you have doubts regarding travelling in Thailand, you may call 1672 for assistance (only local call)

Wat Chang Hai Buddhist temple is open 7 days a week, there is nothing to be worries concerning the unrest in the southernmost provinces, cause the road leading to the temple is on major thoroughfare route 409 toward Yala province and is mend by security force road block along the way. I just visited this temple and Pattani town last weekend, and it seem that businesses open as usual and tourist still flocked to Wat Chang Hai.

Here is the temple website: http://watchanghai.weebly.com/
