I need to download Adobe Acrobat reader to install a stand alone machine, i,e, no internet connection.

Yes, machines like that do still exist!!

Surely it is a simple request?

But NO, not at the Adobe site...........

Firstly they want me to turn off my Anti Virus software???????

They offer upgrades to old versions, but they are only stubs to download

over the internet.

When I find that looks like a download, I get a new Download Manager

which only offers to download and install, NO save option.

What kind of way is this to run a business?

Definitely NOT customer friendly!!

If any one has a simple download/save link it will be most welcome.
