Tax And Employee Provident Fund

Featured Replies

How much tax to pay and is there EPF for foreigners?!

I don't really earn much here so I am not sure how much should my salary be deducted for tax and are foreigners subjected to employee provident fund deductions (if there is any in the first place)?

The answers will depend who you work for and how much you make....

The tax you pay is worked out on a sliding scale, earn so much..pay so much..hit the next scale and a percentage of the extra is paid, as for the provident fund it is optional and depends on the company, the one I work for deduct an agreed percentage of my salary and they then match it. If i leave before 5 years employment I do not get the employers contributions back only mine.
