Hello,

I finally found my dream job in Thailand (IT company) received already my single entry non imm B visa so now it is time to apply for the working permit.

I know there are many companies that can do this for me but I want to know if it is easy to do by yourself (with help of a thai friend)

Someone has experience with this? anything to be aware of?

All papers of the company that are needed I just received.

Getting all the required paperwork together is the often the difficult part, once you have that it is easy to apply yourself and the labour office is there to help you. Check with them first if you have all the required documents and forms and what your job description should be.

In some cases the job description is the tricky part, as if there are qualified Thais to do your job you will not get a work permit. There must be a reason to hire a foreigner.

In reality, the company who is hiring you should be doing the WP application, they need to compile the documents and some of these documents will be financial type documents relevant to that company, so cant really see how you can do it yourself as the company concerned is sponsoring your WP
